We arrived in Madrid in a cold and rainy morning. We took the train from the airport to Puerto del Sol station. From there we had a short walk to out hotel which was located in the city center of Madrid on Gran Via. It's within walking distance to the Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Prado Museum, and other tourist attractions.

A lot of walking, playing tourists and enjoying the local cuisine in three fabulous days!.
On the last Thursday evening of the month, there was a huge bike rally. They gathered on the Gran Via in front of our hotel. There were hundreds of bicyclist, many with Halloween costumes.
