The Ngo's Family Reunion - Saigon, Vietnam - March 2026

We flew from Taiwan to Vietnam on March 5, 2026, enjoying a quick 3.5 hour flight with Vietnam Airlines. Bao and Dien met us at Tan Son Nhut airport to take us to Bong Sen Hotel, where we stayed until the reunion began on March 10.  While Tan and Lieu stayed with Lieu's family in a nearby district, other family members began arriving in Saigon.

Phuong arrived two days after us, followed two days later by Peter, Amy and Angeline. During our stay, we had wonderful time shopping along Nguyen Hue and Le Loi streets, exploring Ben Thanh market, visiting the spa and dining in style at Bong Sen and Ngon restaurants.

Beitou Geothermal Valley, North Taipei - Taiwan, March 2026

It was a rainy day when we headed north to visit Beitou Hot Springs, a geothermal valley located North of Taipei. The valley is in the foothills of Yangmingshan National Park. Because most of the resorts were closed, the village was very quiet. We enjoyed a walk around town, ate lunch and then headed back to the MRT station to return to Taipei.

Delicious dinner: pizza and pasta at an Italian restaurant across the street from our hotel.

Our week in Taipei flew by so quickly. We had an incredible time and would love to return to explore other parts of the country, such as Taichung City in the central region and Kaohsiung City in the south.
