The Covid pandemic had been shutting down tourism worldwide since the spring of 2020. Thanks to the Covid vaccine roll out in January 2021, the world slowly started opening up for travel the summer of 2021.
Our first trip since early 2020, we flew to Denver in July for a visit and a weekend road trip to Ouray, Colorado for Peter's wedding. Beautiful wedding in the pretty setting of Beaumont Hotel courtyard! Congratulations to Peter and Rachel!

In August, we took a road trip to Vermont for Michelle's and Seth's wedding. Destination: Wilmington Inn, Vermont where the wedding venue would be. Vermont is a beautiful state and Wilmington Inn is a perfect place for a wedding venue in August. It was a perfect weekend for a beautiful outdoor wedding. Congratulations to the newly weds: Seth and Michelle!

Carter joined us on the way home. We stayed overnight in Gettysburg and visited Gettysburg Military National Park. It's a very good self guided tour through the park and it made a wonderful stop to learn more about the civil war and the famous battle field at Gettysburg. |
